Since Surfing Began as an Interest and Lifestyle for me in 1983 it was in 1996 after the Ski Season of My first job in photography, the passion of Surfing and experience led to capturing it all thru the lens.

This Image was the first significant image captured at Gunnamatta of Well known Surfer Shaper Simon Ford. There was something here in the Light the Flow and Grace you feel when surfing so capturing that essence came from this moment.

Having a good start working with snow and Light, Surfing images required a similar technique so the Journey began here. 1996 Peninsula Surfriders Club took on a whole new meaning for me beyond actively Surfing. I began to enjoy the Sport, capturing the Action, the Lifestyle celebrations, and Social Opportunities of something I loved as a Sport.

Photography of Surfing at Easter Bells beach Contests also extended the Burn to capture the moment so once again in 2008 I captured this moment of Kelly Slater that in similar Fashion a moment of Freedom and Feeling was taken a Big ShoreBreak Semifinal Showdown, as In the PIC of Kelly Shows, "Deep In the Blue".
